42 03 ford taurus serpentine belt diagram
New here. I have an '04 Taurus that has a bad AC clutch. My plan for the short term until I get more time and money is to put a smaller serpentine belt on it to just bypass the system. Has anyone else done this and would know what size belt I would need? The engine code from the VIN is S if anyone's wondering. Thanks So I did a oil change on my Saab 9-5 (engine B235E) I found seeping around the serpentine belt area. Wanting a detailed list of each pulley does what with labels. Also for fun found oil intake. So I might do a PCV replacement.
Want to find out the details of what's behind the plastic air plenum behind the dash. Trying to help someone change out their heater core and we don't want to move the dash to do it. Just intend to cut through the plenum and rip it out through the center hole with the console removed. But we need a decent diagram to do the least damage.

Supposedly there should've been a decal with the diagram on the car, but we think it's been peeled off. Okay, so I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone with this post. Mostly because I have two Tauruses with the same engine (Vulcan 3.0L) so I have a baseline to compare the other to. So, first off, I bought the 2006 about a month ago, and the goddamn brakes are stupidly loud. The rotors and pads both look nearly brand new. I'll get a loud ringing noise (not necessarily a squeak or squeal, but "rings" out). From what I've read, this is most likely brake dust causing the noise. This seems to ... Hello. My serpentine belt snapped on my ford. I think there is a different name for it but that's what Google says. I can't seem to find the size for it anywhere. And the old belt got lost when the car broke down and got towed of. I think the belt is meant to be stretchy and ribbed but I can't find what length I need. Cheers
03 ford taurus serpentine belt diagram. Has anybody got a serpentine belt diagram? I've just bought an abarth insurance write off, looking to bring it back to life. Alternator isn't charging and power steering stops after a few minutes after ignition, which lends me to thinking there's a problem with the belt? Just replaced my belt with a buddy this past saturday. Driving on it Saturday and Sunday I had no issues but as of today I have been hearing this god awful screeching and a high pitched reee sound, mostly when braking from 15-0 mph and also when accelerating from those speeds. Sometimes makes the noises on turning to. I have consulted a few Google results but wanted to check here too. The tension seems plenty taut to me as well as the Advance auto employee I consulted and he seemed knowledgeable... In my 93 Ford Taurus, my serpentine belt has slipped off twice in the last two weeks. It has slipped off before, but it seems to have happened quickly this last time. I know the belt is very close to my combo radiator fluid container/washer fluid container, and I lost the bolt to hold down the container. So maybe the container is bumping into the belt and making it slip off? Just an idea. Any and all help would be grateful. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to try and answer them. The squeaking is continuous at any speed or idle but stops when I spray water on the belt. I didn't see a visible wobble but I don't have a keen eye for that sort of thing. How do I better diagnose the issue?

Last night I was driving on the highway and I heard a pop come from under my hood and immediately after all my interior lights went dim, my battery light came on, and I completely lost power steering. I pulled over at the first exit and stopped at a gas station. When I popped the hood it was steaming a lot and I leaked a ton of fluid such as all my power steering, a lot of coolant, and I'm pretty sure some oil because that light ended up coming on too. My car still starts up every time but it ma...
